In your TWX directory you should have a folder named data, it should be there.

Nope. Not there. There are some .xbd and .cfg in the Data folder but only for some of the games I have been playing. There are no figlists, busts, ships etc files

the figlists, busts, ships, etc.. end up in the root folder, same place your TWX icon is.... When you make your 1st game, it writes a data and logs folder.

sorry, no clue bout win7. dont know crap about it. Heard there were problems, but thought it was mostly on the telnet side.

you have to turn on logging in twx setup in order to get anything in the log folder. As for the data folder, I always have 2 files for each game in that one. Game .cfg and Game.xdb Have you tried making a game as a test somewhere with a unique name and doing a search for it?

Hey Motrax. Are you running the version of twx that was made to run on Win7? I also know that TWX running on Win7 had an issue of handling directories and finding files when TWX was installed in any directory but the root directory. If you aren't running the version for Win 7, I can probably come up with the link to that version.

Hi BD,
I copied it from you on this web.
It is in "Progam Files"
Maybe it should be in "C:"

I don't have Win7, but I hear that TWX needs to be installed on the root directory, (C:/) it seems in your case, for the operating system to allow TWX to write to the hard drive. I was told that Win7 won't allow TWX to work right when installed in program files.

Easiest thing for W7 users to do is to run the XP virtual machine and put it in there.
Then you have it loaded in XP, and it works fine.
